The Portgas.D.Ace SR shown here (ST15-005) is the 3rd Anniversary Set version — a special promotional card, distinct from the standard Starter Deck print of the same card number.

It was released only inside Premium Bandai's limited "3rd Anniversary Set," a Japan-exclusive collector's box celebrating three years of the One Piece Card Game. The card features newly drawn anniversary artwork by Makitoshi: a striking, deep-red glowing portrait of Ace, themed on the bond between the three sworn brothers — Ace, Sabo, and Luffy. A "3rd Anniversary" logo printed on the card sets it apart at a glance from the common ST15-005.

As a promo available only through a limited, lottery-distributed set in Japan, it circulates far more thinly than any booster-pack card — a fitting collector's piece for one of One Piece's most beloved characters. This is the original Japanese-language edition.
